Site Manager with Brain Injury Experience

The Site Manager is responsible for the provision and coordination of client services for a specific daily site.  Responsibilities will include overseeing the day to day operations of that location, maintaining appropriate staffing, recruiting, training and disciplining staff, maintaining service plans and budgeted hours, referrals and relations with the families of the clients.  Functions independently within the constraints of organizational policy and procedure to assure that the clients receive the highest quality services possible from available resources.  Direction and guidance are available from the Administrator.

This position reports directly to the Daily Service Administrator and is a full-time, salaried position with full benefits.

Hours are typically 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday and Tuesday and 6:00am - 2:00pm Wednesday through Friday. There will be occasions when position will require evenings, weekends and/or being on call.

Salary starts at $32,000 and increases with relevant experience and education.

Education/Training/Licenser/Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas; Human Services, Rehabilitation, Education, Business, Psychology or related field, plus two years of experience working with people with intellectual disabilities/ brain injury and mental illness or a combination of education and experience
  • A working knowledge of person-centered planning and person-centered supports is preferred
  • Valid Iowa Drivers License
  • Proof of 50/100/50K Automobile Insurance

  • High level of literacy in spoken and written English
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to negotiate and handle conflict as needed
  • Ability to be flexible to meet organizational needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft software and applications
  • Ability to travel in counties served by Candeo
  • Must be able to pass criminal history, motor vehicle, child abuse, dependent adult abuse and sex offender registry background checks
  • Possess a motor vehicle that meets the required operational and maintenance guidelines, that are in accordance with the Iowa Department of Transportation motor vehicle safety standards and Candeo’s Motor Vehicle Guidelines.
