Mental Health Team Leader

This person will be responsible for assisting the Service Coordinator in providing high quality residential services to clients in the community. This position is primarily being the lead staff in providing direct support to clients in the community but includes some administrative and leadership duties, including preparing reports, communication with other staff and involved parties, and training of new staff, oversight of medication and health and mental health supports. This is a full-time hourly position with flexible hours and a competitive compensation package. Hourly wage is $13.00 and up depending upon relevant education and experience.


 Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work or combination of education and work related experience required
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends/other shifts as needed
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to separate boundaries
  • Experience with programming/planning (behavior support plans, crisis plans,  activity planning)
  • Ability to support interfering behaviors
  • Ability to develop rapport with clients, parents and guardians, medical/mental health staff
  • Needs creativity and the ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Mental Health diagnoses experience required
