Candeo would like to thank everyone who helped make the Candeo Art of Independence Gala on September 18th a success.

Pictures and more to come soon!

We are pleased to announce, on Sunday, September 23rd, The Des Moines Register is publishing “Iowa’s Top Workplaces” – a list of the best places to work in Iowa. We are delighted to let you know that Candeo has been named to the list. On Sunday, you will be able to see us named in a special section of The Des Moines Register.

The evaluation for the Top Workplaces program is based upon feedback from an employee survey that many of our employees completed a few months ago. We had several responses to the survey, so thanks goes to all of our employees for taking the time to respond, we wouldn’t be on this list without their response!!

We are honored to have been selected for the award, particularly as the judges were our own employees!

Creative Community Options (CCO) Becomes Candeo

November 8, 2008

We are very excited to announce a big change for Creative Community Options. After 16 years as CCO we are changing our name to Candeo, with the tagline “Your Abilities. Your Choices.” As we work together to increase our awareness in the community through a grant we received from the McLellan Marketing Group, we felt this was a good time to make the change.

Candeo (can DAY oh) is Latin, meaning “to grow, to shine, to grow brilliant.” We hope that you will join us in embracing our new name.

We are very fortunate to have been selected from more than 50 applicants to receive the services and expertise of the McLellan Marketing Group. MMG has helped us choose our new name; develop our new logo, tagline, mission, vision and values statement; and have been assisting us with the transition. We are currently developing new brochures and updating our Web site. With this change, we will also begin to refer to our colleagues as our clients. This will bring us in-line with the rest of the human service industry and more clearly define to whom we provide our services.

Our main contact information remains the same, but email addresses have been changed.

Marcy Davis, CEO:

All other staff follows the same prototype (

Please know that only our name has changed. We will continue to provide the same great services to our clients as we have in the past. We will constantly work to fulfill our mission to inspire our clients to achieve their personal goals and attain our vision to be the most trusted provider of client services in Iowa.
